Hi Gurus,
I would like to ask advice on what program (or part of IS) to use for the solution of the following problem:
Lets assume we have an input field (among many other fields) with the following content:
'The red fox jumped over the fence'
Our info Stewards know that when we get a string fox (somewhere in a sentence), they meant rabbit, so the output of the given field should be the following:
'The red RABBIT jumped over the fence'
Lets assume we have a few rows:
'Old Granny and the Owl' - no rule match, the same data will go on...
'The red fox jumped over the fence' - rule found, data will be changed...
...and in the output filed we would like to see (in the SAME field as the input - so basically if a cleansing rule found than it overwrtites the data in the field):
'Old Granny and the Owl'
'The red RABBIT jumped over the fence'
It seem like that it is really hard to achieve with the cleansing packages (if not impossible)...
...or we have to use another feature of the IS?
I am not looking for a full solution, I do not mind digging out the information, but I am afraid, that there is no easy solution for my problem!
Please advice, where to search...
Thanks,
David.
