Configuration to increase number of requests to Webservice

Hi Gurus,

We are using webservice as data store and making webservice calls. From the logs it looks we are making only 10 requests per second which is slow. Can you please help me in finding out the  configuration parameter to increase  number of requests. With current configuration we are making 40000 calls in 80 minutes which is too long. Appreciate your help.
