a question regarding Visual Basic v6 and BI 4.0 - BODS 4.1 compatibility.
The scenario:
- BI 4.0 SP5 FP5
- BODS 4.1 SP1 FP4
- Windows 2008 R2
- SQL Server 2008
BODS is installed and integrated on BI 4.0 in the same server Windows 2008 R2.
We are migrating the different Jobs (ETLs) from DI 3.1 to BODS 4.1 and some of them have processes based on Visual Basic applications.
The question is if BI 4.0 and BODS 4.1 is compatible with Visual Basic 6, I mean if in an environment with BI 4.0, BODS 4.1 and Windows 2008
is compatible to install Visual Basic 6 Runtime in order to can execute de VB6 applications and this VB6 installation don´t damage the BO ones already installed. Have someboy tested it or had the same situation?.
