I'm using SAP Data Services to pull data from SAP ECC to Business Objects. The in the extract I'm pulling sales order, customer, and product data. Now the extract time had been taking anywhere from 4 to 5 minutes to 20 to 24 minutes from one day to the other. I'm doing this extract early in the morning when there isn't a lot of activity in the system. So I'm trying to find the root cause of the error. What I've done to trouble shoot so far is first to go back to a previous ATL file that was dated before the increase in time and still experienced the issues. We also have a couple of other instances of SAP ECC like QAS and DEV and the extract time for hitting those instances are around 5 minutes which is what I expect. So it seems like the problem is specifically hitting production.
So if anyone has any suggestions as to where I should look in determining what is cause of the slowness I would appreciate the help.
