We are having an issue with DS Designer.
Our DS Server Pointing to DB_Server1. Now all our servers are moving to new domain. In this regard we changed all ODBC connection strings to new DB_Server2.
When both Old and new DB_Servers are Up and Running,
1. DBA team moved DS_Database from dB_serve2 to new DB_Server2.
2. ODBC test connection to new DB_Server2 was successful.
3. Management Console is working fine
4. Designer working fine
When DBA team shutdown DB_Server1, then we were unable to logon to Designer
1. Able to logon to CMC
2. Repository is inactive, then we added new DB_Server2. Then it became active.
3. But when we tried to logon to Designer, it is still pointing to OLD DB_Server1.
Are there any settings do i need to update for Designer with New DB_Server2.
Unfortunately we restored DS db from last copy because we lost all our jobs.
I would like to know the root cause to handle production move.
