Better to use HANA calculation view than query join?

Hello all,

I already have two tables loaded in the HANA database.

I need to join these two tables and transform into a target format.

In normal cases, we would do a join in data services and then transform the data.

Is it better to create a calculation view in HANA (already joined) and use a transform query in data services to transform the data into a target format?
