1)In production environment, we don't have any fixed number of configurations. There can be n-number of configurations. So, it's impossible to forecast number the configuration for other environment.
Is there is any way to create configuration through al_engine command line? I found, only configuration can be updated not inserted new.
al_engine -N$DATABASE_TYPE -Q$DATABASE_SERVER -S$DATABASE_INSTANCE -U$REPOSITORY -P$REPOSITORY_PASSWORD -jd$DATASTORE_XML_FILE
2)We have huge number of jobs, while moving to different environment, is it necessary to create execution command in management console for each job in other environments. And also i'm passing global variables in run-time. If I create execution command for each environment, those runtime global variables will be over-ridden. Is there is any other way to handle this?
