Need expertise comments for migration of ABAP code file (generated by ABAP dataflow) from Dev environment to QA\Prod environment. We have configured the RFC destination, ECC user to have access to ABAP Code directory etc. But need to get more information on migrating the ABAP code file from Dev to QA\Prod.
I got below steps in one of the discussion which is as:
1. In SAP Datastore, change the Advance properties as(make sure datastore is connected to correct ECC source)
ABAP Execution Option: Execute Preloaded
Execute in background(batch): No
2. In Local Object library, select ABAP dataflow and perform below steps:
1.In the local object library, right-click an ABAP data flow object.
2.From the context-sensitive menu, select Generate ABAP Code.
The ABAP Programs Generation Dialog appears.
3.In the Generate ABAP programs in directory field, specify the path of the ABAP programs.
4.To enable automatic installation of the ABAP programs, select the Upload generated programs box.
5.Click OK.
Data Services generates and installs the ABAP programs. Because the SAP system must process the ABAP programs, the installation time could be somewhat lengthy.
Please let me know if this is the correct way of migration for ABAP code (generated by ABAP Dataflow) or in case if there is some different way then please do let me know.
