In Data Services Server manager it gives me the following error:
You selected not to install the Job server(s) on this machine. (BODI-310047)
Hardware:
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
64-bit OS
Quad Core CPU
16GB RAM
Found the following thread which talks about copying a license file that resolved their problem:
No license to configure or run Job Server on this machine
We have specific development only keys we use through a partnership (at least that's my limited understanding) and not license files specifically.
Was able to run install fine and pretty sure had it install the default job server.
Tried changing the install (through Programs and Features), same error and no job servers installed
Tried modifying installation by running original install file, same error and no job servers installed.
Short of uninstalling and reinstalling data services, which would like to avoid, is there any other possible ways I could resolve this?
Is it possible I entered (i.e. copy/pasted) the incorrect product key, which caused some features, such as the job server, not to work? If so, is there a way to change the key without uninstall/reinstall?
