I have a Real-time Data services job which works perfectly fine and returns expected results in xml format when executed through Data services designer.
I deployed that job as a web-service and tested over SOAP UI(to check whether it returns the intended results),
but the web-service returns with System error : No results were found instead of the results.
Any idea how do I go ahead regarding this.

I am facing a scenario in which I am extracting data from BW system and loading to Oracle. It has 4-5 left joins. Left table has 1.7 million rows.
I have up and running RFC connection and the job execution starts properly. Problem is that it loads only 6 lakh records in approx 1300-1400 secs and then terminates. It gives the RFC Communication Failure error after loading particular no. of records or after running for a particular period of time. I am confused on this. Tried searching on google but my error is nowhere mentioned.
I need some urgent help on this. Please give your inputs. It would be highly appreciated. Here's the error :

I just found a 'tricky' issue. I have imported an ODP object from ECC and used it as data source in my data flow. During import process, one field is missing from the source. Only three fields are extracted and loaded while 4 fields in the data source in fact. During the import, I did not see any filter to take out this field. Have no idea on how the field just gone. Appreciated on any help!

In SAP DS 4.2 SP6, I am trying to create a secure connection with Google Cloud SQL (Gen 1) database (which is MySQL 5.6 hosted online).
When creating a datastore, I don't see anywhere the ability to specify SSL certificates for MySQL 6.5 to make it secure trasnfer?
ODBC as an alternative remains for this but I would rather like to make the connection using the native driver.

I have a Problem with my DQM4SAP Installation for a SAP MDG System.
I have Installed DQM4SAP and configured all the required Jobs including the two MDG specific ones.
I performed all the configuration steps and the duplicate check and the addressvalidation work fine in the Transaction BP.
I made all the MDG specific configurations (maintaining the Services and defining the matchcode fields).
But when I klick on the check button when creating a Change request, no popup appears and is just gives a message that says everithing is valid
(even if it's not).
Does anyone have an Idea what the Problem could be?
Are there any MDG specific steps that I have to perform so the Validation will be triggered (configurations in MDGIMG, something in the workflow or SICF to add?)

i am facing one issue in BODS.
when i am trying to load the FF(Flat file) to HANA DB through BODS, values are mismatching to the particular field in a one column.
i have not used any functions in BODS much.
could you please help me out to resolve this issue.
While upgrading SAP Information Platform Services (IPS) 4.1 to SAP IPS 4.2 Service Pack 2, the installer notifies you that SAP IPS 4.2 (like SAP BO 4.2) requires a new license key and that this can be generated through SAP Marketplace.
As we just completed a SAP BusinessObjects 4.2 SP02 upgrade, this wasn't a surprise and we generated a new key through SAP Marketplace.
However.... with SAP IPS, this is a bit confusing. IPS was never a separately sold or licensed product, which is why previous installations included the "InstallIPS.exe" which kicked-off the installer with a pre-defined 'dummy' license key.
Now looking at Marketplace, I cannot find any entry for SAP IPS key generations? If I select our registered Data Services environment, I can generate a DS key but that's not what we need here. (In IPS 4.1 and below, the DS key would not allow you to install IPS - you really needed a BO-like key .. hardly surprising as IPS is just a stripped-out BO CMC.) If I look under BO, I see our BO keys etc but that's not that we need either.
Has anyone successfully generated a new key for SAP IPS 4.2 SP02 and if so, how and where?
Stranger still - after acknowledging this requirement in the IPS 4.2 SP02 update installer and selected to continue with the installation, SAP IPS 4.2 SP02 appears to be completely functional? All servers, including the EIM APS, were enabled, running and fully functional.
So do we really need a new license key at all or is this message just a result of the "copy and paste" when generating a new IPS version from the BO CMC code?

we got a old BODS 4.0 SP3 Server running and now i wanted to made an Update to BODS the newest Version. So i installed a second Server and installed the newest BODS Version. I updated one Test Repository to the newest Version and made some Tests with the existing Batch Jobs.
All Jobs are fine expect one Job which is using ABAP Data Flows. After the Base Admin opened the SAP System to install the ABAP Programms and closed it, i got the following Error:
RFC CallReceive error <Function /BODS/RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN: RFC_ABAP_MESSAGE, SAP system has status 'not modifiable')- SAP
system has status 'not modifiable'[SAP NWRFC 721][SAP Partner 740 ]
Now i got two questions. In the Old Version everythin is working fine on a closed SAP System but not in the new one. Why? Would it help to grant permissions for the BODS User in SAP System or must be the System permanent open?

inside table comparison I am using PK1,PK2,PK3 as primary key and compare column as Status.
in Map operation : Delete : Update
Final Target table should be:

I am not getting this result as its not detecting the deleted rows which are not in source.

The idea is to develop a generic Job without nested if, but a job using a script for retrieving the name of the Dataflow and submit its execution.

We extract and load data source from ECC to SQL DM via Data service. There is an ODP object imported by name from ECC, which has a custom field. After we load it to DS, I found the custom field did not import. Does anyone have similar experience and know how to check somewhere to fix this? Really appreciate your help!

Hi - What would be the appropriate method to move the jobs from BODS 3.2 to BODS 4.1 ? Both has different version of SQL data base as well .
I can think of doing an ATL export and import , Will it be an efficient method or any other suggestions ?

I've got a HDP 2.3.4 cluster, with a Job Server for Data Services 4.2 SP6 installed on one of the nodes. I've configured a Hive adapter for that Job Server.
Now I'm trying to run a Batch Job sourcing data from Hive. The job hangs. I see it starts Hive CLI (command-line interface) behind the scenes, and it's the latter that hangs.
In fact, I can use Hive in my Hadoop using beeline/Ambari/HUE. It's specifically Hive CLI utility that hangs. I noticed that it's scheduled for retirement in some future, and wonder what SAP is going to do with Hive adapter regarding that. I could investigate why hive CLI hangs in my cluster, but not sure it's a productive use of time.

I am using BODS tool to load the Flat File Data to HANA DB Tables.
Every time, when i ran the job it loads the data into HANA table. After job has completed and I manually open the
HANA studio and run the two line Procedure script which takes around 20 mints of time .
So, My requirement is-- is there any automation process to run the script automatically, once job has completed in the BODS it self.
Even i have investigate on this and i got one point that, there is Pre load and Post load commands in BODS.
please suggest if its suits here or please guide any suggestions here.
