SAP Data Services support for sas7bdat binary data

Hi,

I'm looking for a solution to read SAS binary data files (format sas7bdat) with SAP Data Services.
Has anybody any experience how to cope with that?

The apporaches I have in mind are:

• convert the files in advance to csv with a 3rd party tool like dsread from Oceanview Consulting
• write a Data Services adapater that makes use of SassyRead (see http://kasper.eobjects.org/2011/06/sassyreader-open-source-reader-of-sas.html)

Any other ideas are appreciated!
